Are you a true
believer?
Yahshua has given
us a definition of a True Believer in the book of Revelation.
Here is his
seven-fold witness to what a true believer is.
Seven-Fold Message (Witness) of Revelation
Although
the Book of Revelation contains much of what is still to come, certain
fundamental teachings are found in it. One revelation that comes through very
clearly is the definition of True Believer, which is given in 7
places-the Biblical number of perfection and completeness.
************************************************************************
True Worship rests on two
fundamental principles, and the True Believer has to comply with these
two requirements:
1. To guard the commands
of YHVH
(G-d)
2. To trust in the faithfulness of Yahshua
HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah)!
Seven Witnesses:
We read this in: (1) Rev. 12:17
(2) Rev. 14:12
(3) Rev. 15:2-3 Where the over comers are described as those who sing the song
of Moshe (the Law-Teachings) and the song of the Lamb's (Yashua's) grace.
The other four witnesses: “Word,” “Command,” and
“Teachings” are often used as parallel words, or synonyms, or interchangeably.
Proof
texts: a) Ps. 119:142
b) 119:151
c) 119:160
Compare also
Ps. 119:105 with Prov. 6:23, and Prov 13:13
(4) Rev. 1:2
(5) Rev. 1:9
(6) Rev. 6:9
(7) Rev. 20:4

Revelation. Read on for these witnesses extracted from YHVH’s (G-d’s) Letter to
us, the Bible.
The Seven-Fold Witness
Rev 12:17 And the dragon
was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed,
which keep the commandments of G-d, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (KJV)
Rev 14:12 Here is the
patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of G-d, and
the faith of Jesus. (KJV)
Rev 15:2 And I saw as it
were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over
the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his
name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of G-d.
Rev 15:3 And they sing the
song of Moses the servant of G-d, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great
and marvellous are thy works, Lord G-d Almighty; just and true are thy ways,
thou King of saints. (KJV)
In the above passage we see
over comers representing the Law (Torah) by the Song of Moshe and trust in
Yahshua by the Song of the Lamb.
Rev 6:9 And when he had
opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain
for the word of G-d, and for the testimony which they held: (KJV)
Here again we see triumphant
believers representing the Word, Law, Commandments, which are all
interchangeable English words for G-d's Torah, and testimony representing
Yahshua's faithfulness as the two essentials necessary for salvation.
Rev 1:2 Who bare record
of the word of G-d, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that
he saw.
Rev 1:9 I John, who
also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and
patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of
G-d, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 6:9 And when he had
opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain
for the word of G-d, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of G-d, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon
their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years.
In all these verses salvation
is linked to not only trust in the faithfulness of Yahshua but also in obedience
to G-d's Word (Torah.) We are reconciled by our trust in Yahshua's faithfulness
but sealed by our obedience to YHVH's Torah.
Many seem to overlook or ignore
that Yahshua Himself said we must obey His voice and be obedient to G-d's Torah.
They do not recognize or seem to appreciate that He was the living manifestation
of G-d's word the Torah. The Sages have told us that the Messiah would come and
show us how to interpret and live the Torah of G-d, by His example. The
Scriptures reveal His life as the living out of G-d's Torah, as a pattern for
those that place their trust in Him for reconciliation (atonement) to G-d the
Father.
The reconciliation of Yahshua’s
faithfulness guarantees us forgiveness of Past Sins but not future ones:
Romans 3:25 Whom G-d
hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of G-d; (KJV)
2 Pet 1:9 But if
anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that
he has been cleansed from his past sins. (NIV)
What is the warning if we don’t believe what Yahshua
said about the definition of a True Believer and salvation?
2 Pet 2:21 For it had
been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after
they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
PROVERBS 28: 9
He who turns away his ear from
hearing the teaching (Law-Torah-Instructions), Even his prayer is an
abomination. (Isaiah-Yesh, 59:1-2, John- n. 9:31, 1 John -1 Yn 3:22)
